| Bleem! Version 1.4 Win 95(demo) |
Bleem! | 07/29/99 | This is a demo of the newest, and now, you can go to your local software store, and pick up a copy of the full version. Bleem! emulates the PSX effectively, and with the full version, the minimum requirements are DirectX 6.0 and a P166! WARNING This demo version of Bleem has color movies, but has no sound (except for CD music), no 3D hardware support, no MMX or 3DNow! support, and no memory card support. This newest version fixes a Not Enough Memory problem. Registration on Bleem! is priced at $29.95. You can go right to the Bleem! website and order it right on-line. |
| Connectix Virtual Game Station | Virtual Game Station | 03/06/2000 | Yet another victor in the fight against lawsuits from the Sony Corp. This little is another one of those commercial releases of a PSX emulator. With the help from the team in charge of the PSEmuPro project, Connectix released this software package to the public. With features compairable to that of Bleem! its definatly worth the look at. Unfortunatly, there was and never will a downloadable demo version. So if you acctually want to try this out, you have to buy. Kinda sucks, I know. Sorry. |
| Jackal v0.009 Win 95/98 |
No site available yet... | 10/02/99 | A brand new emulator out on the virtual market. Doesn't really do much right now. Basicly it can only emulate the bios and VERY FEW demos. A bios is required to run this emulator. Click here to find one. |
| FPSE Version 0.6 Win 95 Binary and Source |
FPSE | 12/31/99 | FPSE is a new PlayStation emulator. So far, the emulator is pretty much useless, as there is no MDEC, no CD-ROM support, and only partial BIOS support. I'll keep you updated on any changes. |
| PSEmu Version 0.2.1 DOS |
PSEmu/PSEmu Pro (website no longer available) |
01/14/98 12/31/98 02/03/99 |
PSEmu Pro is the new version of the old PSEmu(DOS) which is now discontinued and obsolete. PSEmu (for DOS) was the first Playstation emulator to exist. PSEmu Pro is even faster than the real playstation giving you have the right machine. A BIOS rom image is required for this emulator to run. Here is a link to a BIOS image that I know of. But most importantly there's a whole lot of plugins, and these can all be downloaded at the PSEMu download page. The 1.0.21 upgrade requires 1.0.20 to work. |
| Psyke Version 0.20f Win 95 |
Psyke | 09/16/98 | This is a Playstation emulator using something revolutionary. Dynamic Recompilation. Executor Macintosh Emulator uses this, and it results in GREAT speed. This new emulator is faster than PSEmu and is really worth a try! It has CD-ROM emulation, and can run some commercial games and demos. CD Audio also works now. A 3DFX card is recommended for better playability. NOTE: I beleive that this emulator has been suspended for good. I'll keep tabs on it and update when I find anything. |
