eToys Sale

Ok, hopefully you picked up some cheap games at eToys from the link below. If not, I'd go and purchase some now. I noticed that they have Resident Evil - Code: Veronica for $20 for dreamcast. I saw the game a few nights ago in walmart for $50. So even if you already had the game, maybe you could try returning it and pocketing $30? hahaha, too bad I opened my copy, or I'd try it.

It seems that several of the games I picked up for $5 and $10 are gone now, but there are a few left. Here is the link again incase you missed it the first time. Don't miss this opportunity, because I've never seen new games this cheap, and probably never will again.

Cheap Games at eToys

I saw this posted at retrogames and had to post it here. eToys is has an area with games on Sale up to 75%. I'm mostly interested in dreamcast right now, and found several games for $5 and $10, and even more for $15 and $20. You should check a site with reviews first to make sure you don't pick out a total peice of crap game.

I picked out these games:

Blue Stinger
Aero Wings
Evolution
WWF Attitude
Resident Evil - Code Veronica

And the total is only $49.95... That's probably what a single playstation 2 game is going to cost you. You can also pick up a gameboy camera for fun, it's only $5. The only part that really sucked is that shipping was $10. But with no taxes, it isn't as bad. I just wish they had Shenmue for $10 :) In my opinion, it is not even worth buying a playstation 2 until next christmas at least.

Finals

I finally finished finals and the last of my classes last night. I'm glad that's finally over. Now I will be able to do a little more work on the site, and get some of the bad links fixed and stuff.

And I guess there are some people who do care about the 4 year anniversary of the site. Thanks to everyone who has stuck around for all these years. It's been a long time, going from many different hosts:

Concentric -> Simplenet -> riftwar -> forfree.at -> emulationworld, and then finally my own domain hosted by emulationworld.

I've been hosted by emulationworld nearly 2 years now I think, and I don't see the site moving or shutting down anytime soon. I'm not going to be a traitor to emulationworld and switch to a new host just because things are changing. I'm not in this for the money, unlike some sites that I won't name.

Anyway, if you have a suggestion for the site (besides having roms), feel free to e-mail it to me. I'm not saying that I'll do it, but I'll at least consider it. I really don't know what else to do with the site, besides expanding into areas that I know almost nothing about, such as Atari 2600. Commodore 64 would be cool though, but I'm not sure that many people care about it.

Oh yeah, I finally got around to building my own SMS rom dumper. You can find the instructions here:
http://www.smspower.org/smsreader/

I haven't gotten it to work 100% correctly, but now that I have time to work on it, I'll figure out what is wrong.
